Kat received her ‘R’ from USEF in January 2017 in Hunter/ Hunt Seat Equitation/ and Hunter Breeding after mentoring with the wonderful judge, Mike Rosser. She also holds an ‘r’ in Jumpers. With her license, she has already judged many USEF ‘AA’, ‘A’, and ‘B’ rated shows around the country, including Kentucky, Sonoma, St. Louis, Chagrin Valley, Colorado, Katy TX, Loudoun, Ocala, Rosemount, Ledges, Tryon, Venice, Lexington VA, and Raleigh, just to name a few. She absolutely loves judging and is available to judge shows of all levels.
Kat is also an experienced IHSA, IEA, and NCEA judge, and she is very familiar with the format and rules for all these associations. With her IHSA experience coaching for the University of Georgia from 1995-1999, and her IEA experience, including the National Reserve Champion Middle School team, she is an excellent judge for these competitions. She has also judged NCEA shows, and she is very comfortable with that format as well.
With over 27 years of experience teaching clients to many regional and national championships, Kat offers freelance teaching and riding at your farm. She is available for clinics and has taught clinics for many trainers and riding programs across the country. She is a USHJA Certified Trainer and has been certified since the inception of the program in 2009.
